Waterless Wheel Washes for EKFB on HS2

EKFB (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial, BAM Nuttall) are the joint venture building the 80km section of HS2 between the Chiltern Tunnel and Itchington Wood, Warwickshire. The works include 30m cubic metres of excavation, 81 bridges 15 viaducts and 6.9km of green tunnels.

Last week Ecogreen Plant Hire Ltd, with our haulage partners Bennetts Transport, supplied the project with three waterless wheel wash systems which (of course!) don’t waste any precious water, need no power or supervision, and are easily moved and repositioned. They can’t break down, dry out or freeze up, generate zero emissions and can’t contaminate water courses or ground water.

They offer an effective, economical and environmentally responsible solution.
